The best thing about self portraits is that the model's patience is always equivalent to that of the artist's. Someday, I will learn to draw myself from life without that concentrating pseudo-scowl. And on that day, free delicious cake. For everyone.

i must say, your self-portraits make you look devious/scowly/old! you are none of these things.
someday, force yourself to smile for three hours while you draw yourself. at least then the drawing will look hilarious.
